Mother-Daughter Duo Changed the meaning of NIL BATTEY SANNATA #A2ZofBollywood

N FOR NIL BATTEY SANNATA

Nil Battey Sannata (2016) is another movie that proved a good movie does not beg for established stars or expensive locations. The movie has conveyed a very strong message that education. The story has various hues of emotions that rotate around a single mother Chanda Sahay(Swara Bhaskar) and her Daughter Apeksha Sahay(Ria Shukla).

SUMMARY :-

Apeksha aka Appu who studies in 10 grade is a rebellious adamant daughter of Chanda Sahay,, She takes the least interest in studies. believing what’s the need for higher education when I am supposed to follow the footsteps of my mom and ended up becoming a “Bai”. Chanda contradicts this thinking she works as a domestic help at the house of a high-class decent doctor family (Ratna Pathak). Chanda tries all her luck and efforts in making her daughter well educated, for which she even tries for coaching institutes Since Appu is weak in studies especially in maths subject. Chanda goes all the way to contact the District Collector (Sanjay Suri)of her city, gathers the information to qualify UPSC exams, also enrolls herself in her daughter’s school to study herself first, understand the mathematics and then teach to her daughter. Appu doesn’t feel comfortable to see her mother in school she feels jealousy as her mother gets all the appreciation from teachers also become very dear to everyone in the class. Appu challenged her mother not to go back to school once she scores above 50%, in this dejection also Chanda finds the ray of hope. Appu kept her promise by saying, ” I brought these scores so that you could not come to school, Chanda’s all hope and efforts went into vein, she left school and started working at 2 placed to collect more money for Appu, later Appu realized her fault, collect all the pieces of broken dreams of her mother .worked hard and made her way to the interview of UPSC.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:-

1). Where there is a Will, there is a Way, Chanda knows she won’t be able to collect more money for her daughter’s coaching fees, she decided to take more jobs to earn and save. at last, she placed her daughter where she wants.

2). Hard work does not have alternatives, The thing pulls us back is Fear, only the way to to get rid of that fear is to Face it, Appu had a fear of Mathematics, she poured all her efforts in practicing the math with the help of her friend and hard work she become able to save her dream and she passed the exams with flying colors.

3). You are the creator of your Destiny, Appu says to Chanda,” doctor ka beta doctor Banta hai, engineer ka beta engineer, to mei bai ki beti bai hi banungi” (Doctor’s son is supposed to be doctor, engineer’s son is supposed to be engineer, so it is pre-decided that I am going to be a domestic help just like my mother), here Chanda makes her very clear that it is not written anywhere, you are free to write your destiny, do it.

4). There is nothing bad about getting Failed, bad is when you accept your failure without even trying.

Scene where Appu said so confidently, “kyunki mujhe Bai nahi banna tha”.

That is all for today see you tomorrow with another big-wheeled character. Till then have a happy reading, leave with your comments and promise to be back tomorrow!!
